Harding falls in District Finals

The Raiders fell to top-seeded Shaker Heights, 49-38 Saturday in the Division I District Finals.

Solon, OH (WKBN) – The Warren Harding boys basketball team fell to top-seeded Shaker Heights, 49-38 Saturday in the Division I District Finals.

The Raiders got down early and never led in the game. After trailing by 12 at halftime, Harding continued to struggle offensively, particularly from the free throw line.

Shaker Heights maintained their lead by melting the clock. Both Derek Culver and Jarelle Johnson both fouled out for Harding in the final minutes.

Shakem Johnson led Harding with 11 points, while Derek Culver added 10. The Raiders finish the season with a 21-5 overall record.
