Trumbull: Art Gallery hosts reception for artists with special needs

Trumbull County Art Gallery hosts artist reception.

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — An artist reception was held at the Trumbull County Art Gallery Saturday.

54 pieces are on display at the gallery.

All the artists are children or adults with special needs.

The public was able to meet the talented artists to learn about them and their work Saturday.

“I just started simple stuff, painting and some little bit of doodles here and there. Then, when I got into high school, I was inspired by one of my famous art teachers, Mr.. England of Highland High School. He gave me so much inspiration,” said Russell Bragg, of Warren.

This piece of work by Russell was inspired by Jurassic Park.

The artists are a part of the Fairhaven Foundation, which putting this gallery on for National Disabilities Awareness month. The gallery will be on display through April.
