Car slams into Salvation Army store in Youngstown

A car slammed into the Salvation Army store in Boardman, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Salvation Army store in Boardman was damaged after a car slammed into the building Thursday.

The accident happened about 10 a.m. at the store on Route 224.

It is not clear what caused the vehicle to hit the building.

No one was injured.

The Boardman Fire Department responded to the scene and indicated the building was stable.

The store is currently closed.

The Salvation Army Thrift Store opened last August at the new location on Route 224.
