One injured following shooting

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Youngstown police have confirmed that a 15-year-old boy was injured after what police are calling a drive-by shooting.

The shooting happened about 6:30 p.m. Saturday on Youngstown’s south side.

The teen was walking along South Avenue near Hilton when a car driving by fired at the teen, hitting him in the leg.

Investigators said they do not have any information on the person who fired the gun or the vehicle.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to Youngstown police.
