Man jailed in Hubbard Township robbery

HUBBARD TWP. (WKBN) – A man accused of robbing a township store at gunpoint late last year is in the Trumbull County Jail.

Hubbard Township police arrested Kenneth A. Nezbeth, 36, of King Graves Road, Warren, Friday in connection to the Nov. 23 robbery at Michelle’s Mart on state Route 7.

He’s being held on $100,000 bond and charged with aggravated robbery.

According to police, the masked robber walked into the store, pointed a handgun at the owner and a baby, who was nearby in a playpen, and ordered her to empty the cash register.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and ran from the store.

No shots were fired, and there were no injuries.

Nezbeth will be arraigned Monday in Girard Municipal Court.
