WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Chase Bank is closing its main Warren branch at 106 E. Market St. downtown and will consolidate with its branch at 1160 W. Market St. as of June 25, according to a letter sent to customers on Friday.
The letter does not state a reason for the closure. Chase Bank is one of the anchor buildings in downtown Warren.
Customers will be able to continue using their existing accounts and ATM cards once the downtown branch closes, the letter states. Customers with a safe deposit box at the downtown branch will receive more information in the next 30 days.
The letter states that comments on the proposed branch closure may be mailed to Washington, D.C., but officials there do not have the authority to approve or prevent the closure.
Chase Bank has more than 5,500 branches and 18,000 ATMs nationwide.
