Cortland man arrested on rape charges

Frank Arcuri was arrested and charged with rape in connection to a Bazetta Township, Ohio child.

CORTLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Police from Cortland and Bazetta Township arrested a Cortland man Tuesday in connection to an assault on a young girl in Bazetta Township.

Frank Arcuri III, 35, was indicted by a Trumbull County grand jury Tuesday and was picked up at his residence on Frostwood Drive in Cortland that same day.

He was arraigned Wednesday. Bond was set at $1 million.

According to Bazetta police, Arcuri is facing rape charges surrounding offenses against an 8-year-old girl that began in 2013 and continued through 2015.

A pretrial is scheduled for April 16.
