Man wanted for attempted homicide arrested in Farrell


FARRELL, Pa. (WKBN) – Police arrested a man wanted for attempted homicide and aggravated assault Wednesday night in Farrell, according to a release from the Sharon Police Department.

Sharon Police, along with officers from the South West Regional Police Department, arrested Darelle Michael Coffey, 24, of Pittsburgh at a house in Farrell, according to the release.

Police said the warrant for Coffey included charges of criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and firearms violations.

Authorities arraigned Coffey and took him to the Mercer County Jail.

A message left with Sharon Police asking for further detail was not immediately answered.
