WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Warren police have located the driver of a car who may have information in a deadly crash that killed a Warren G. Harding High School student.
Warren Police Chief Eric Merkel thanked the community on the department’s Facebook page for its help in tracking down the white, 2003 Chevrolet Malibu that investigators were looking for.
Merkel said the driver has been interviewed and that the investigation is ongoing.
Police were looking for the vehicle in hopes that the driver would have information in the March 12 crash that killed Alyssa Wynn, 17, of Warren.
Wynn was a passenger in a truck driven by her mother when the vehicle was allegedly cut off, lost control and flipped over on West Market Street.
Police released surveillance video of the Chevrolet Malibu in an effort to track down the driver for questioning in connection to the crash.
