Trumbull County second in state with bear sightings

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) — Trumbull County came in second in the state last year with 13 confirmed black bear sightings.

That’s according to a report from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, wildlife division.

The report also states there were 135 sightings statewide in 2014. That is down from 158 the year before.

Ashtabula County had the most confirmed sightings with 14 and Mahoning County had four.
