(CNN) – Hillary Clinton is expected to formally announce her 2016 presidential bid this weekend.

A source close to her campaign says Clinton will announce her candidacy Sunday via video.

Clinton will then travel to Iowa, home to the first-in-the-nation caucuses.

This would be Clinton’s second run for the democratic nomination.

She lost it to barrack Obama back in 2008.

If she succeeds this time, she would be the first woman to top the ticket for one of the two major parties.
