PSP looking for child luring suspect

PERRY, Pa. (WKBN) – Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a man who they say tried to lure children into his vehicle on at least three occasions in Perry Township, according to a press release sent Thursday.

According to the release, the suspect is a white male in his late 40s or early 50s with a gray beard and possibly glasses, driving either a white or green pickup.

Police said that the man tried to lure the children into his truck by asking them if they wanted candy one time, then asking if they wanted a ride on another occasion, and asking for help in finding his dog another time.

In all occasions, the children informed an adult, who contacted police.

Anyone with information about the man can call the Mercer post of the Pennsylvania State Police at 724-662-6162.
