Phantoms drop heartbreaker in 2OT

The Youngstown Phantoms fell to Muskegon Monday, losing the series 3-1

YOUNGSTOWN, OH (WKBN)-Will Graber deflected a shot behind Colin DeAugustine in the 2nd overtime of Game 3 Saturday night to give the Muskegon Lumberjacks the 2-1 win, and series lead over the Youngstown Phantoms

The game remained scoreless until the 3rd, when Tyler Sheehy found Vas Kolias on the far side who beat Eric Schierhorn glove side to give the Phantoms a 1-0 lead.

Late in the period the Lumberjacks tied the game, a 2-on-1 that was finished by Matheson Iacopelli Muskegon’s first goal of the game, and only goal of regulation for the Lumberjacks.

Game 4 is Tuesday in Muskegon.
