Arrest made in Vallourec bomb threat

Rakieda Cheatham was arrested in connection to a bomb threat made at Vallourec Star in Youngstown, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – An arrest was made in connection to a March bomb threat at Vallourec Star in Youngstown.

Rakieda Cheatham, 27, was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in connection to a bomb threat at the steel plant that resulted in a 3-hour shutdown of the facility.

Cheatham was taken into custody Friday after federal agents searched her home on Broadview Avenue in Youngstown.

She is being held in the Mahoning County Jail.

The Youngstown Bomb Squad was called and put on standby during the incident but was never called to the scene.
