Rides offered in Youngstown for early voting on Sunday

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The May Primary in Ohio is just three days away, but the polls will be open Sunday for early voting.

Votes can be cast Sunday at local boards of election from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. On Monday, early voting begins at 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Tuesday is Election Day and the polls are open in Ohio from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Community Mobilization Coalition is once again offering free rides Sunday to the Mahoning County Board of Elections.

The group will have a van at four different churches in Youngstown and once services are over Sunday, participants can board the buses to the polls.

The participating churches are:

  • Price Memorial AME Zion Church,
  • Gethsemane Baptist Church
  • Tabernacle Baptist Church
  • New Bethel Baptist Church

Transportation will be available from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
