Franken guides Fitch past Harding

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Fitch’s Alex Franken accounted for a go ahead RBI in the top of the seventh to pace the Lady Falcons to a 7-6 victory over Harding. Franken also registered the win by coming in relief in the final frame. McKenzie Luknis and Ashley Hawryluk both had three hits. Hawryluk made a running catch in the bottom of the sixth with the bases loaded to end the inning. Emily Haggerty had a pair of doubles.

Taylor Long, Morgan Honeywood and Kayla Titoski all had two singles apiece for Harding.

The Lady Raiders (7-19, 2-9) will play at Fitch (11-13, 6-5) tomorrow at 9/11 Fields.
