Campbell, Ohio fire department strained by fire after crash

CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) – A fire damaged a house in Campbell Tuesday afternoon, shortly after a truck crashed on a nearby highway in the city.

The fire started at a house on Whipple Ave. around noon. The Campbell Fire Department had to call in reserve firefighters to help with the blaze, as a number of on-duty firefighters were helping clean up the truck crash on Ohio State Route 616.

No one was inside the house at the time of the fire.
