YBI gets donation from Medical Mutual of Ohio

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A large gift on Monday will help the Youngstown Business Incubator in its mission of helping technology start-ups downtown.

Medical Mutual of Ohio gave $10,000 to the Youngstown Business Incubator. The company said they wanted to recognize the work YBI is doing to gain international attention.

The gift was made through the company’s Customer Appreciation Program.

“We felt it was in our best interest to give to the Youngstown Incubator. So our check today will hopefully go a long way toward their endeavor to be one of the best incubators in the entire world,” Ed Byers of Medical Mutual said.

Byers said the company has given $43 million back to its business clients through its Customer Appreciation Program.
