YPD investigating south side robbery

Police are investigating a robbery at Gino's Drive-thru in Youngstown, Ohio.


YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown police are looking for a suspect who robbed a Youngstown drive-thru Monday night.

According to a police report, a clerk at Gino’s Drive-Thru on Midlothian Boulevard on the city’s south side said that a man with a mask at gloves entered the store, pulled out a gun, and asked for money around 9:30 p.m.

The clerk further stated in the report that the suspect sprayed him in the face with pepper spray and that the man then took off with cash from the store. Surveillance video showed the man running down Shady Run Road, according to the report.

The suspect did not injure anyone during the course of the incident.
