YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Authorities set the bond for a Youngstown fatal stabbing suspect at $100,000 Wednesday.
Police charged Autumn Hines, 19, with murder Wednesday, accusing her of stabbing Rashad Bailey, 23, in the chest after he punched her.
According to a police report, officers arrived at a house at 1425 Maplewood Ln. around 11:50 p.m. Monday and found Bailey lying on the ground. Police called an ambulance, which brought Bailey to a local hospital, where he later died from his wounds.
Just after midnight, police cleared the scene, arresting Hines, the report states.
“There was a relationship between the suspect and the victim,” Youngstown Police Detective Brad Blackburn said. “They had some children together. And apparently there was some type of altercation that led to her stabbing him.”
