2 found safe after 90-minute search in Hubbard

HUBBARD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – A young girl and a mentally challenged woman were found safe Wednesday evening after being missing for about 90 minutes.

The two, a 10-year-old girl and a 22-year-old mentally challenged woman, went for a walk from the Stonybrook Village Trailer Park off Seifert-Lewis Road and got lost in a nearby wooded area around 7:30 p.m. Approximately 20 people, as well as police and firefighters, helped with the search.

They were found about 9 p.m. deep in the woods. Police used a cell phone one of them was carrying to track them down.

Police said no foul play was involved.
