Man injured in Johnston Twp. accident

JOHNSTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle crash in northern Trumbull County that happened Tuesday night.

Steven Frantz, 21, of Burghill, was traveling along Route 7 in Johnston Township about 9:30 p.m. when he drove his GMC pickup off the road and hit a tree.

Frantz was taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries.

The road was closed for about an hour as crews worked to clear the scene.

Frantz was wearing a seatbelt.
