Hickory’s McKinley wins gold at State

SHIPPENSBURG, Pennsylvania (WKBN) –  The State Track and Field Championships are taking place in Pennsylvania this weekend.  The event is being held at Shippensburg University.  Hickory Sophomore Tori McKinley took top honors in her event, claiming the gold medal in the Girls’ Discus.  Fellow Hornet teammate Elena Marchand finished second in the vent.  Greenville’s Molly Mondavo came in third, with Hickory’s Cailen Blaire placing seventh.

Wilmington Ian Brehm placed second in the Boys Javelin Throw in Class AA.
