Man driving suspicious van in Warren arrested

Lonnie Watson

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Last week, concerned parents issued a warning about a suspicious man driving around Warren in a van and making lewd comments to a young girl.

The woman said the man followed her daughter and was making “cat calls.”

Because of cell phone video taken by a parent, police were able to get a license plate and arrest the man. Lonnie Watson, 57, was booked into the Trumbull County Jail around 12:30 p.m. Friday.

He faces a felony charge of menacing by stalking. Warren police say the investigation into Watson and the van are ongoing.
