Bristol students score big in TAG contest

Bristol students win the TAG PSA contest

BRISTOLVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – Two classes at Bristol High School scored big in the Trumbull Ashtabula Group’s anti-drug public service announcement contest.

Both the digital communication and academic English classes placed first and second in the competition. The PSA’s will be used by the task force as part of their community drug education efforts.

Sheriff Thomas Altiere said what the kids came up with was great.

“It was amazing. I mean, these kids were brilliant in the PSA that they just put together. It really gives you a good jolt when you watch it,” Altiere said.

Altiere gave the students a check for $1,250. The school can use the money for technology.
