It is a combination of the following risk factors: abdominal obesity, high blood pressure, high triglycerides, high blood sugar and low HDL cholesterol.

Metabolic Syndrome significantly increases the risk of developing heart disease, stroke and Type 2 Diabetes. Metabolic Syndrome can be reversed through nutrition and lifestyle changes.
