New assisted living coming to Poland

New assisted living facility opening in Poland.

POLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Briarfield Health Care Centers plans to build a new assisted living center in Poland Township.

They expect to break ground on The Inn at Poland Way in summer 2015 with an opening goal of 2016. The facility will be located off of Route 224, east of Clingan Road.

The $12 million facility will include 64 assisted-living units and 25 units in the dementia-care wing.

“We know that there’s an established need in the area for a place for seniors to go that provides a safe and secure environment that allows for the concept of aging in place, which means you can stay in one place and have that facility provide all of the services and amenities that you need,” said Robert Rupeka with Briarfield Health Care Centers.

A new street called Poland Way will also be added to lead into the facility.
