Vienna trustees to re-propose police levy

VIENNA, Ohio (WKBN) – Vienna Township Trustees will try again, to get a police levy to pass.

The Tribune Chronicle reports the 1.5 mill, five-year additional levy is planned for the November ballot. The levy would raise more money for the police department through property tax.

Trustees also said they will ask for another one-mill, five-year fire and emergency services levy.

Voters turned down the police levy in May during the primary election.
