Impromptu craft shows showcase local artists

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Impromptu craft shows that move from spot to spot are a new concept showcasing area artists.

On Sunday, the Rust Belt Made Makers Market held a craft show at the Stone Fruit Coffee Company in Canfield.

The goal is to bring one-of-a-kind, vintage and eclectic art all to one location.

“I’ve been accustomed to doing a lot of pop-up shows in Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Columbus and noticed that wasn’t something in the mix in the area and really wanted to venture out and see if we could put something similar together,” said Melissa Smith, organizer of the Rust Belt Made Makers Market.
