7 charged with Stark Co. cocaine conspiracy

STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WKBN) – Seven people from Stark County are facing charges for cocaine conspiracy.

A federal grand jury indicted the men on 13 counts.

They are all from the Canton and Massillon areas.

Prosecutors say the men are part of a group that packed guns and sold drugs in neighborhoods.

This indictment is the second in the investigation, which has resulted in 21 convictions so far.

Indicted are:

  • Derrick L. Walton, 40
  • Gregory N. Burns, 41
  • Jon A. Herring, Jr., 34
  • Dwight A. Martin, 25
  • Michael Patterson, 30
  • Jermaine L. Woodson, 36
  • Robert L. Morrow, 45
