Lisbon seeks solution for geese problem

LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) –  Lisbon officials are trying to figure out what to do with a growing geese problem at a local park.

The Morning Journal says a large gaggle of geese have taken up residence at Willow Grove Park.

The birds are fouling the grass with their droppings and have become aggressive towards people.

Lisbon’s mayor said he doesn’t want to poison or shoot and kill the geese, so the city is looking at a noise device to help scare them off.
