Trumbull County commissioners mull water line project

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Trumbull County Commissioners on Wednesday approved spending nearly $50,000 on a study to determine how much it would cost to install water lines in Southington Township.

The preliminary engineering study for the Southington Water Improvements Project will be conducted by CT Consultants, Inc. Of Youngstown. No money from the general fund will be used to pay for the analysis. Commissioner Frank Fuda said it will be paid by a grant.

The water lines would serve parts of Southington, Champion and Warren townships. The project has been under consideration for four years.
