$3K reward offered for help in Hubbard murder

HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN) – Friday, the non-profit police-aid agency Crime Stoppers announced a $3,000 reward for tips that lead to the solving of a crime that happened in Hubbard back in March.

Cody Pitts died after leaving the Downtown Coffee Café just after 2:30 in the morning on March 7. Shortly thereafter, the Trumbull County Coroner’s Office ruled his death a homicide by gunshot wound.

According to police, Pitts had spent several hours at the bar with friends and was the last to leave. A passerby found his body along the side of the Orchard Avenue about 3:30 a-m.

Crimestoppers is looking for any information about what may have happened after Cody left the bar, including the route he took. You can reach the Youngstown-area branch of Crime Stoppers at  330-746-2583.
