BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Drivers who use a stretch of busy South Avenue in Boardman will soon see a new traffic signal.
Mahoning County Commissioners will spend nearly $200,000 this summer to have the devices installed at the corner of South Ave. and McClurg Road.
Right now, the intersection only has stop signs for motorists pulling out onto South.
The new system will include turn arrows for those trying to turn left onto McClurg.
Engineer Pat Ginnetti said that the work to install the new signals could start in the next few weeks.
