Farmington crash leaves woman seriously hurt

FARMINGTON, Ohio (WKBN) – A two-car crash Monday on State Route 88 in Farmington left a woman seriously injured, the Tribune-Chronicle reported.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Cynthia L. Fodor, 47, of Bristol, was driving west, passing traffic, shortly after noon when she lost control of the truck in standing high water on the road and slid into the path of a Ford dump truck that was heading east.

Medical personnel took Fodor to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital by helicopter to be treated for serious injuries, according to the patrol. Police also said that she was not wearing a seat belt.

The crash did not injure the driver of the dump truck.
