WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of what they’re calling a telephone scam in which a caller claims to be from the “Trumbull Claims Department.”

The sheriff says the caller then threatens the person with an arrest warrant if payment is not made on an outstanding bill.

As always, the sheriff says you should never give out credit card or bank account information over the phone.
