SHARON, Pa. (WKBN) – Police in Sharon are looking for a serial graffiti vandal.

Sharon Police Lt. Mark Johnson said the spray painted tags started showing up around town about two weeks ago.

Police received reports of the latest vandalism on Tuesday, when the words “EBK gang” were found spray painted on the back of Michaelen’s Hair Unlimited, 491 E. State St. Several items on the property also were broken, Johnson said.

On June 17, the initials “EBK” were found spray painted on the side of the building and on a trash bin at Sharon News Agency, 527 E. Silver St. On June 16, the words “MUDIK” “King” and “SF” were found spray painted on the back of the Mercer County Visitor’s Center, 50 N. Water Ave.

On June 15, the words “2015 3d st killers” was found spray painted on the back of Career Link, 217 W. State St. Johnson said the problem is getting worse and the vandal is targeting businesses and residential garages.

Tips from the department’s Facebook page have led to a few suspects, but police have not filed any charges.
