Trees down and roads covered during storm

A tree is down on Glenwood Avenue near Shields Road.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The weather has caused trees to fall and roads to be covered.

In Boardman, Ohio there was a large tree down across Glenwood Avenue just before Shields Road as of 10:30am. The police had the road cleared at 11:09 a.m.

In Trumbull County, a tree is down on 928 River Boulevard West between 8th and 9th streets in Newton Falls, Ohio as of approximately 8:48 a.m.

As of approximately 8:55 a.m., water is covering the road at 3829 Warren Ravenna Road in Newton Falls.

Warren Ravenna Road at State Route 5 in Braceville is flooded.

In Lawrence County, a tree is down on Wurtemburg Road and Gardner Lane in Wayne Township as of approximately 8:51 a.m.

Yards on Eagle Point Drive near West Broad Street are under a foot of water. One homeowner told a WKBN reporter there is only one way in and one way out of the housing development. Homeowners are stranded.

In Howland Township, a tree fell on a mobile home at approximately 10:51 a.m. at 2075 Weir Road NE. People were trapped inside, but no one was injured.
