Austintown hotel owner checks in for 30-day jail sentence

Sebastian Rucci, owner of Hotel California

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The former owner of Go Go Girls Cabaret is in jail, serving a 30 day sentence in connection with an Austintown case.

Sebastian Rucci, current owner of an Austintown hotel formerly known as Hotel California, reported to jail Wednesday to begin serving his sentence.

The incarceration stems from a 2014 jury trial where Rucci was found guilty of four liquor violations.

He is scheduled for another hearing next Wednesday in Austintown court.

Since the closing of the Go Go Caberet, Rucci has opened a hotel in Austintown but has struggled obtaining a liquor permit and faced a lawsuit for naming rights to the facility.
