Surveillance video leads Niles police to robbery suspect

Police in Niles, Ohio arrested Daniel Campbell for a robbery and the Instance Cash and Gold store.

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – A Niles man is facing robbery charges after being identified in surveillance footage.

According to the Tribune Chronicle, police arrested Daniel Campbell, 35, for a robbery at the Instant Cash and Gold store on Youngstown-Warren Road.

Police said he peppered sprayed the clerk before reaching over and grabbing money from the register drawer.

When police caught up with him, they found almost $800 of the stolen money.

Campbell is being held in the Trumbull County Jail. He is schedule to make a court appearance next week.
