15 dogs seized from mobile home in Mercer County

DELAWARE TOWNSHIP, Pa (WKBN) – Humane agents seized 15 dogs from a mobile home in Mercer County.

The agents said the living conditions were deplorable.

Charges were filed against 45-year-old Lisa Peterson and 41-year-old William Knauff after neighbors called to complain about the dogs being mistreated.

Humane Agent Renee Dorogy told 33 News the mixed-breed dogs were living in filth and some were tied to very short ropes.

The owners have 10 days to relinquish the animals.

Dorogy says they are searching for foster homes for the dogs.
