Alliance woman arrested after 911 call about Chinese food

ALLIANCE, Ohio (AP) – An Ohio woman has been arrested after calling 911 to complain about an order of Chinese food.

Police say the 44-year-old Alliance woman called the emergency number late Monday afternoon to say the Chinese food she’d ordered from a local restaurant was “not up to par for her liking.”

The woman told WKBN that she wanted her money back because the food she bought was spoiled, then called police when the clerk refused and became angry.

Police arrested and charged her with a misuse of the 911 system, a misdemeanor.

The woman is scheduled to appear in court this week.
