SYRACUSE, New York (WKBN) – Farrell graduate and current Syracuse Center Robert Trudo was named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List this week.
Each year the award is presented to the best center in the country.
The former Steeler played the previous three seasons at guard for the Orange.
Trudo joins 62 other centers on this year’s watch list. No Syracuse players has ever won the award since it began in 2000.
The winner will be selected by determining the consensus All-America center from three organizations and honored Jan. 16, 2016 in Lincoln, Neb.
As a Senior at Farrell in 2010, Trudo was named one of the WKBN Five Blocks of Granite.
