OSP makes second Oxycodone bust in one week

For the second time in one week, troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol seized hundreds of oxycodone pills.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) – Troopers with the Ohio State Highway made a second prescription pill trafficking arrest in the same county within one week.

Troopers stopped a Chevrolet Malibu with Kentucky registration for speed on Route 23 in Scioto County on July 3.

A K-9 unit alerted troopers to the vehicle and a search was initiated.

A pat-down of the driver turned up a baggie filled with 454 oxycodone pills. The passenger surrendered a baggie containing 798 of the pills.

The street value of the drugs is estimated at $26, 520.

Troopers arrested Shateka K. Lambert, 28 and her passenger Holli A. Ross, 29, both of Ashland, Kentucky.

The two were charged with possession of oxycodone and trafficking in drugs.

Just five days prior, troopers arrested a man, also driving a Chevrolet Malibu, on Route 23 in Scioto County with a baggie full of 325 oxycodone pills.
