SALEM, Ohio (WKBN) – There’s a 5k this weekend that you can run, walk or even crawl.
It’s the Camel Crawl 5K at Forever Safe Farm in Salem.
Normally, the farm is a quiet place for rescued animals.
But, this weekend it will be full of mud and runners racing through obstacle courses.
There are walls to climb over and ropes to climb up.
Forever Safe Farm director Karrin Campf says it has quite a reputation.
“We’ve been told we’re diabolical, lots of things. But people really love that kind of stuff,” Campf said. “But the advantage is, you can run it without doing all the obstacles. If you just want to do the course you don’t have to compete.”
The race begins Saturday at 10 a.m. and parking is available at Kent State University in Salem.
