Hit and run driver plows through crowd in Missouri

Police are looking for a teen driver who drove into a crowd of people in St. Louis, Missouri.

EAST ST. LOUIS, Illinois (CNN) – Authorities in East St. Louis, Illinois on Friday were searching for an 18-year-old woman who allegedly struck four other women in a hit-and-run collision that was captured on video.

Police believe Moeshia Allen was driving a gray two-door car that slammed into the group, which was standing on a street in Lincoln Park during a June 27 altercation.

Bystanders’ video shows four people being hit by the front of the vehicle and knocked to the ground. They then stand up and walk away from the scene as the car drives off in reverse.

No one was seriously injured in the collision, according to Michael Floore, chief of the East St. Louis Police Department.

The incident stemmed from an ongoing feud involving the driver and the four who were struck, investigators told KTVI.

Police on Friday publicly identified Allen and released a photo of her, as part of the effort to locate her. The U.S. Marshals Service is also involved in the search.
