CLEVELAND (AP) – Cleveland police say two women and a man were found dead in a home on the city’s east side, and the bodies had been there for days.
Deputy Chief Ed Tomba says officers found the bodies Friday afternoon after people called police to check on neighbors who were last seen earlier this week.
Police said it appeared the three were shot, but the circumstances remained a mystery. Authorities say there was no sign of forced entry or weapons in the home.
Police say a middle-aged woman was found downstairs, and a man and woman were found upstairs. Their identities and ages weren’t immediately released.
Detectives and crime scene technicians were at the home later Friday to process the scene.
