Destani Chaney and Juchard Duncan, facing drug charges

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Two people were arrested in Warren over the weekend after a store clerk notified police about a customer with a gun.

According to a police report, officers were alerted about 9 p.m. Friday to a man with a gun in his pocket inside the CVS store on East Market Street. The man left the store and got into a black SUV in the parking lot.

Police approached the vehicle and initiated a search which turned up heroin, codeine pills, and a gun concealed in a storage compartment in the vehicle. They also found brass knuckles on the dashboard of the vehicle.

Police arrested Jucahrd Duncan, 24, and Destani Chaney, 27 at the scene. Both are facing drug charges.

A third female in the vehicle was not charged.
