CORTLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Cortland police continue to investigate a break-in at a farm supply store from Tuesday night.

Police say a caller told a dispatcher she discovered the side door of Western Reserve Farm Cooperative on South Mecca Street was broken shortly after 7 last night. Police found a side door open, and said someone had been inside and took things.

When police arrived they found no one inside the building and began searching the area for the thief. Police determined some items were stolen from the store and have no suspects. About 30 minutes after the break-in, a person found a money bag and ripped up checks a few streets away from the break-in, according to police.

If you have any information on the break-in, you can call Cortland Police at 330-675-2730 or 330-638-1000.
