MERCER COUNTY, Pa. (WKBN) – Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a western Pennsylvania man who they say has stolen from various locations in several Pennsylvania counties, including Mercer and Lawrence.

According to a Pennsylvania State Police press release, Kevin McFadden, 46, hides out in vehicles, abandoned strip mines and secluded areas. PSP Trooper Joseph Morris told WKBN that he has stolen farm equipment and scrap, among other items. Police believe the thefts have taken place in Mercer, Butler, Lawrence, Crawford, Venango and Clarion Counties.

The release also stated that McFadden “commonly shaves and changes facial hair to avoid identification,” and that Morris has fled multiple times from police, including numerous high-speed chases.

Anyone with news about McFadden’s location can call Pennsylvania State Police at 724-662-6162. Police informed WKBN Wednesday afternoon that a financial reward is being offered through Crimestoppers to anyone who provides information leading to his arrest.
